In 2009 I was invited to participate as a guest speaker and workshop facilitator in “Knowing Each Other” - The Northern Saskatchewan Sport and Culture Festival held in Beauval, Saskatchewan. This was the beginning of a multi-year partnership between the NSSCF and the IMP Labs, as well as myself and The Northern Sport, Culture and Recreation District. The festival celebrates the rich cultural  and sport heritage of Northern Saskatchewan. It also focuses on how sport, culture, and recreation can help build strong and viable communities.
